Positiv: Proximity of train station Lyon Part Dieu Negativ: Location of the hotel. Villeurbanne is a neighbourhood hat has a very bad reputation. Hotel in middle of residential buildings not in very good shape. Difficult to get a taxi as it seems cab drivers are avoiding this location.  Do not feel secure at all in the vicinity of the hotel. Not a good location.
