There are 16 km of hiking trails and sheds in nearby Hirsiniemi region. Reindeer farm Valkean Peuran valtakunta is about 4 km away, where you can get traditional food and reindeer rides by prior arrangement. Lake Livojärvi has vendace, whitefish, trout and grayling.
